When should I arrive?
Guests should plan to arrive at the Carousel Building at 4:00 PM.
What’s the dress code?
Cocktail attire. October at the Jersey Shore can be gorgeous… or it could throw us a curveball. Please bring a jacket or wrap for the walk between venues.
Will transportation be provided?
Most of Asbury Park is walkable, and the reception is just a short walk along the boardwalk from the ceremony. If you decide to stay farther away, or your heels are just too high, Uber and Lyft are widely available.
Where should I stay?
We recommend staying in Asbury Park or neighboring Ocean Grove. Check out our Travel and Stay section for our favorite hotels and accommodations.
Is there a hotel room block?
Unfortunately, room blocks are not available. We put together a list of our favorite hotels and accommodations on the Travel and Stay section. Airbnbs are another great option in both Asbury Park and the adjacent town of Ocean Grove. Ocean Grove B&Bs are a more affordable option. For those staying in Asbury Park, we strongly recommend accommodations east of Main Street.
Are children invited?
While we love your kiddos, our ceremony and reception will be adults-only. Let’s party! However, children are invited to our Halloween party the following day.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place at the Carousel Building, a special but unheated building dating back to 1929. We’ll then take a very short walk down the boardwalk to Watermark for the reception. Please dress accordingly for late October weather.
Is the reception seated?
Our reception will be cocktail-style, with plenty of passed hors d’oeuvres, dinner stations, drinks, and dancing throughout the evening. There will be a mix of tables, lounge seating, and plenty of room to mingle. Nico’s number one request was a two-hour cocktail hour (his favorite part of every wedding). We figured… why stop at two hours?
What’s happening on Saturday?
The celebration isn’t over! As you may know, we love Halloween and we commit to the costume. Join us for our Halloween Party on Saturday, October 31, from 3:00–6:00 PM at The Black Swan. Costumes encouraged *cough* required. Children are invited to this part (and whoever you brought to watch them the night before!)
